Anushri

Meet Anushri! She is a bright and cheerful girl who loves playing games outside, the color pink and rabbits. Anushri wants to be a teacher when she grows up to teach little kids English, Marathi, and Hindi.

When Anushri came to Grace House, her story was heartbreaking. She lived in a children's home where she wasn't given enough food or proper care. She endured regular beatings with a water pipe, leaving her skin red and sore.

But at Grace House, things are different for Anushri now. Here, everything is brighter -- from her fellow sisters to her house parents who provide her with a loving and caring home. Anushri takes comfort in the faith-based environment around her and knows this is an opportunity to create a better life for herself. As she grows, she hopes to make her dreams of becoming a teacher come true.
