Nandani

Meet Nandani, this sweet girl walked into Grace House with a big beautiful smile on her face and it hasn't left yet.  A 6 year-old 1st grader who has charmed everyone to walk through our gates.

We don't know a lot about Nandani's background.  We do know that she and her sister, Vidya, were abandoned by their mother.  Left alone with a father too poor to even care for himself these beautiful girls were often left to fend for themselves.  Somehow their father heard about Grace House and sent Nandani to live with us.  It wasn't until hours after her arrival we learned she had a sister, a 9 year-old who was left behind in the village to cook and clean for their father.  We prayerfully and urgently sought out her family and within two weeks was able to bring Vidya to live with her sister. 

We are incredibly grateful to reunite these sisters, to watch them grow into all God has planned for them.  It will be a joy to see exactly how that will all unfold.
