Meet Shilpa, our streetsmart, kind, loving, wise, and one among the original Grace House Girls.

When Shilpa and her sister Anjali lived with their grandmother in a village, they were forced to go on the streets and to temples to beg to keep the family fed. A kind uncle took notice of their plight and brought them to us. At Grace House India, Shilpa and Anjali receive love, care, education, and the opportunity to build a future. The two live in an environment where they feel safe and are embraced by staff and other girls who understand their unique situation.

Shilpa dreams of a bright future, free from her past struggles. She's on her way to achieving success with hard work and determination. We at Grace House India stand with Shilpa and Anjali every step of the way, cheering them on as they continue to pursue their dreams! We strongly believe that when you provide children in need with love, hope, and opportunity—they can accomplish anything.
